The philosophy

A point of view, carefully kept.

By Lyrane began as a place to slow the act of choosing. I wanted a quieter kind of edit—one shaped by use, beauty, memory, and the simple question of whether something truly deserves a place in everyday life.

Linen curtains and warm wood shadows in quiet natural light.

I have always trusted the eye that lingers.

Photography taught me to notice light before objects. Film taught me pacing. Songwriting taught me restraint: what to leave in, what to take away, and how a small detail can change the feeling of the whole.

That way of seeing carries into interiors, design, beauty, wellness, travel, and the rituals of daily life. I am interested in the things that become part of someone’s rhythm—not because they announce themselves, but because they quietly improve the texture of a day.

By Lyrane is the result of that instinct: a considered editorial home for fewer things, better chosen, and a life arranged with more care.

A life of references

The edit is shaped by many disciplines, but held to one standard.

01

Seeing before selecting

Good taste begins with attention. Before recommending anything, I look for proportion, material, feeling, usefulness, and the quiet evidence that something was made with care.

02

Many disciplines, one lens

Photography, film, music, interiors, beauty, wellness, and travel all sharpen the same instinct: to recognize what has atmosphere, integrity, and lasting presence.

03

Personal, not performative

Nothing belongs here because it is popular, photogenic, or easy to sell. It has to feel honest in use, generous in spirit, and worthy of being returned to.

The edit is a way of living.

The Lyrane Edit, Essentials, Wellness, Wardrobe, Home, and Create are not separate interests so much as different rooms in the same house. Together, they form a point of view on beauty, usefulness, ritual, and thoughtful consumption—an invitation to buy less, choose better, and notice more.
